Islington’s Biodiversity Action Plan provides an overarching framework within which action to protect and enhance biodiversity can be prioritised. It identifies priority habitats and species, setting a programme of action for their conservation over a set timeframe.

Islington’s last Biodiversity Action Plan (available here) was designed to run from 2010 to 2013, so Islington Council are currently working on producing a new plan.
