Wednesday 14th January: 6-7.30pm An Evening with pioneering urban gardener John Little, Seed Swap and Islington Gardeners AGM at St Mary’s Upper St. This event is downstairs in the South Crypt. Full details about this event are here on Eventbrite. Free entry for members and non members.

Sunday 8th February, 1pm: A number of us will be visiting the Snowdrop Sunday event at Stephens House and Gardens in Finchley on Sunday 8th February. We will meet at 1-1.15pm at the entrance to the snowdrop walk. There is no need to tell us you are coming. Just show up on the day. 

Wednesday 11th February, 11am: Members-only trip to Osterley House to have a look at their Winter Garden. Full details are found on this email. Update: The house itself will now be open, this is in addition to the gardens and park. 

Wednesday 8th April, 10.30am-12.30pm: Guided Tree Walk around Highbury with Paul Wood. This event is now sold out. £13 per person. This is a members-only event.

Wednesday 15th April, 10.30am-12.30pm: Second Guided Tree Walk around Highbury with Paul Wood. Full details on this email. £13 per person. This is a members-only event.

Sunday 10th May: Annual Plant Sale at Olden Garden. This is our annual fundraiser and is a chance to buy lovely plants at reasonable prices.

Tuesday 26th May, 2-3pm. Members-only tour of Charterhouse Gardens. A ‘hidden jewel’ in Islington. Booking info coming soon.

Tuesday 16th June: Coach trip to Chenies Manor. Save the date. Details coming soon.

Thursday 16th July: Save the date for an outing by public transport to Theobalds Farmhouse Garden (closest rail: Crews Hill)

Friday 7th August: Save the date for an outing to Kew Gardens by public transport. This visit will coincide with the Henry Moore exhibition.

Friday 11th September: Coach trip to Hever Castle and Gardens. Save the date. Details coming soon.

Wednesday 28th October, 7-8.30pm: Save the date for our Autumn event in The Garden Room @ St Mary’s Church Annex, Upper Street, Islington.

Wednesday 19th March: Piet Oudolf film screening, seed swap & launch in the South Crypt Room at St Mary’s Church, Upper St N1 2TX. Doors open from 6pm. Free entry for members and non members.

Sunday 27th April: Plant Sale & Islington in Bloom promotion at Olden Gardens N5 1NH

Wednesday 14th May: Group visit to Hatfield House Gardens (by public transport)

Saturday 21th June: coach trip to RHS Hyde Hall

Friday 8th August: Private horticultural tour of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park

Tuesday 2nd September and Friday 5th September, 2pm – Private tours of Aga Khan Centre, King’s Cross

Thursday 18th September: coach trip to Beth Chatto’s Essex garden
